BrandKarma: How do you treat your customers and employees?
Brandkarma is a feedback website, which, according to founder Craig Davis, was launched to "help everyone make better brand choices and influence brand behaviour for good".
Most websites will have glowing customer testomionials. Why? Because no company is going to publish any negative feedback about themselves...
However, with the advent of social media, consumer power is reaching a new high. Customer opinions do matter - because your disgruntled customer can tell millions of people about your shoddy service, whereas the impact of negative word of mouth was a lot less a few years ago.
Reasons why BrandKarma was created:
* Make brand owners accountable
* Share amplify and mobilize your opinions on brands
* Make better purchase decisions
How it works
On Brandkarma, businesses are rated by five petals of a flower, which focuses on how the brand treats its customers, employees, investors, suppliers and the environment. Users can enter comments about one of the five areas and grade the brand with a colour from bad (red) to good (green). These colours are reflected in the relevant flower petal, according to the number of responses. Brands featured on the site can also be compared on the five criteria and overall ranking score.
