E-marketing mailing lists

Do you have a mailing list? No? Yes, you do!

Your mailing list

 sxc.hu/blary54

Your mailing list is comprised of every client with whom you have worked. Send them a personal email and ask them if they would like to receive industry news, tips and special offers from you.

Confirm that you don't want to fill up their inbox and guarantee that you will never send more than monthly updates (or however many you plan to send).

New subscribers to your mailing list

When you meet people at networking gatherings, and they take your business card, ask them if they'd like to be on your mailing list. If they agree, keep their business card in a seperate pocket, or mark their card with a pen so that you can easily see who has agreed to your updates.

Engage with subscribers

Make sure that your focus is on engaging with people - and not just a method to punt your services. The idea is that you are farming, not hunting. By providing your clients with valid and relevant information, you will be top in their minds when they need the services you offer. Gently pull them towards you. Don't push yourself on them.

“Joanne has been a wonderful addition to our team. She hit the ground running and delivered excellent results in a short amount of time. She is always a step ahead suggesting new and better ways of doing things. She has been a fabulous asset to our organisation and I would have no hesitation in recommending her."
